Thanks for sharing, if that scar is hard to post and to reveal, then the mood you are in, perhaps reflects it was time to share that to let go of the negative attachments, and see that people respect and appreciate you for just you. And I think that is great, all that from a guy who does not know you, but perhaps thinks you needed this today.

Well, congratulations on having the courage. And what better place to expose it than do the world of fellow bloggers! We're gentle and kind. Well, if we're not anonymous that is.

My good friend has the same name, different spelling (Maura). not a common name where I come from.

Good for you! We all have scars - some bigger than others. Some not so easily seen, as they may be inside. But it takes a brave soul to expose hers. =)

You know what they say about scars...

A scar is just proof that your past was real.

Your right. My feeling a little cranky doesn't compare to that. Congrats on being cancer free. Three and a half years before "official" remission.

BTW I had probs with apsmmers too. Turn your comments to word verified, it's annoying to do, but makes you safe from bots.

    My scars are mostly internal...

here's a question: what's worse, the scars you can see or the scars you can't?

Hey, don't feel bad, I have one thats longer then that starts at the top of my stomach and go's way downwards at a slanted position. Mine is from galbadder surgery before they started useing the new way of getting it out. But I will say this I threated the doc's life if he didn't make it real thin he promised he would and he did. It's thin but it's long. I used to think it was terrible but now I wear it like a battle scar and don't worry about it. What's yours from. You look great so don't worry about one scar.

Opps excuse me that picture at the top might not be you. But I'm sure you look great anyway.

I love it! Cheered me up when I read your reaction. LOL

Who cares if you have a scar anyway? You fought and you won!
    It's a battle scar!

sweetheart, i think i can speak for alot of guys that a scar of any size is really no different than a birthmark. just as a woman would do to a guy, were looking at toneness and fitness. youre good to go, trust me! i mean if brad pitt had an large apendectomy scar across his 6 pack would a single woman not find it endearing? no!
    march onward!

You drew on yourself? You wore a thong too tight and it left a mark? Looks fine to me. You do realize guys don't even notice things like this, right?
