A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you!
This was taken from Brico & Dale ....... Thanks guys, you're great :)

This picture reminds me where you and i use to run naked through the woods. By the way wearing your shoes as you run through the woods can be ruled as naked.

I remember the time that you and I went out on the town and you got your heel stuck in the subway grate. As we were trying to get you unstuck, a breeze came from underneath and a limo coming by happened to see the flash of your lace top thigh highs. Colin Farrell stepped out, bought both of us new shoes and took us out on the town for the evening. Then, we were whisked off to Ireland for a three day camping trip with him and his buddies (after he bought us more gear) and brought us back home. The details are a bit blurred from the three days of debauchary. We do know that he put in a good word with our bosses who promptly gave us raises (even though we'd been truant for the last three days) and an extra week off with pay to recover from the whirlwind of excitement.

I remember the time that we were driving along and saw a homless guy we thought we would give some money to. You offered to give it to him but when he wouldn't wake up after you shook him we called the police. Hahahah- you touched a dead guy!

That was when he took the role of the asshole in titanic...ahh but he still looked good he still calls from time to time begging me to come back to him...Ahhh what a memory oh by the way thank for that night if I hadn't of come up to go parting I never would of had that memory or Billy

The funeral was hard. I walked along the cobblestones and stopping on the ancient stone bridge I put both hands on the cold rock wall, worn smooth with time, absently picking at the surface imperfections with my nail. I stared out over the water, letting my eyes follow the leaves as they flowed along at the will of the current…my mind drifting off when I heard the click of your heels on the stone; steady and purposeful in their approach and slowing only just a little before I felt your hand sliding up my back. There was such sympathy in that touch, warm and strong. You wrapped your arm around my waist, attempting to ward off the growing chill of the evening air and covering my hand with yours, I felt the pain recede. I didn’t need to look in your eyes I knew what they would say and I closed mine to the deepening gloom, losing the voyage of the leaf armada. Aware only of your warmth, the scent of your hair and softness of your breath as you leaned in closer. I knew then that this was the happiness in the day – thank you.

As we laid on the sand at the beach watching the sunset we were amazed at how we could communicate our feelings for each other without speaking. As the stars and the full moon rose so did our passion for one another. You in your black bikini (or was that V.S. underwear) looked stunning against the starry backdrop. Our passion turned to pure desire and we consumed each other until day light.

Not sure what the heck all those other people are writing about, but... that picture... wow.. it takes me back to when we were young... well... okay... you were young and I was younger... and we strolled through the woods, long after it was dark.... you in that little red hood and cape... or.. no.. wait... sorry... not that night... no... the time when we finally came out of the woods by that huge pasture... it was already dark.... a million stars lit our path... we decided to cut through the pasture.... walking hand in hand.... well.. okay.... I was walking, you were in that little child carrier thing on my back, but.... we were walking... and we almost bumped into those cows..... an on impulse...we... well.. I... pushed that one over... and it scared the shit out of the other ones.....and they started a ruckus that woke you up and made you drop your passy (never did go back and look for that)... and in addition to freaking out the cows, you started balling like a 2 year old... for goodness sake, you were 3! And I had to run like an idiot to get us out of that pasture.... ruined a good pair of white sneakers....smacked your head on the fence as I ducked under the top rail.... which made to cry even harder....

*sigh* .... yeah... those were the days....

I was still married (legally). My wife and I were separated, but out on a reconciliation date (our last reconciliation date). We went to the bar to wait for a table. I sat down next to an empty bar stool (which was next to you). I ordered two drinks. Everything that night was so forced and uncomfortable and fake. As I left the bar, you glanced up and gave me "the world's greatest" smile. I don't know if it was really meant for me. I do know that it made the rest of the evening bearable. For that, I will forever be in your debt.

Mara, the pic never loaded for me, but I'm guessing by some of the comments that it had something to do with a path through the woods? Anyway, I picked a different memory for you...

Remember that time we were locked in the health club after hours. We came out of the locker rooms at the same time, both of us sweaty, flushed, and wearing only a towel. I assumed you were in the sauna too.
“So what do we do now?” you asked.
“I don’t know about you, but I’m going for a swim.”
I opened the door to the indoor pool and the full moon shining through the skylight gave the room an ethereal glow. I didn’t notice you coming up behind me until you threw your towel over my head. I pulled it off to catch a glimpse of you before your sleek body broke the surface of the water.
We swam, talked, flirted, and teased for hours, never touching, never embracing. After a silent moment you declared you were going for a shower. I watched, hypnotized by the swaying of your hips as you climbed the steps out of the pool; mesmerized by the moonlight glistening off of your perfect skin. My trance was only broken by the sound of the door closing as you left.
As I ran after you I noticed how cold it was now that we were out of the water. When you turned for the women’s lockers I told you to get your things and meet me in the guys’ showers. You smiled a mischievous grin and nodded.
I set one shower to a comfortably warm temperature, and then turned all the others as hot as possible. By the time you made your way through the maze of lockers there was a thick fog of steam. The only lights were from the red glow of the EXIT signs. I will never forget the sight of you walking to me through the red glowing steam.
Our eyes were fixed on each other until you reached me and we finally embraced. It felt so good to hold you and it seemed to last for days. I finally broke the embrace and turned you around gently. You shivered despite the warm steam flooding the room. I reached for the shampoo and began to wash your hair. I watched as the suds rinsed from your hair and ran down the curves of your shoulders, breasts, hips, and down your long luscious legs.
When I raised my head you were looking over your shoulder smiling at me. You handed me the bar of soap and turned back around. I used my hands to spread the soap, caressing every inch of you. By the time I finished you were trembling again.
You wanted to reciprocate, but I wouldn’t let you; this wasn’t about me, it was about you. For the rest of the night I did as you desired; whatever you wanted, I performed.
Neither of us spoke until we were getting dressed and I asked if we should try to get out, or just wait until they opened. You got that mischievous grin again and motioned for me to follow you. I grabbed the rest of my clothes as you headed for the emergency exit. Without hesitation you pushed the door open sounding the alarm and walked straight to you car. I stood there in the parking lot half-dressed, amazed by your spirit and beauty, watching as you sped away.

At least that's the way I remember it.

I remember when we bumped into each other at the grocery store... I couldn't reach the item on the top shelf, you helped me.

We laughed because we both wanted the same product and there was only one left!

I traded you the product for a kiss and your phone number :)

remember that time a few years ago at midnight new years? you were doing your coyote ugly routine after several B-52 shots. i was at the bar admiring the view. you slipped and fell right into my lap. you said "my goodness, my dancing was working THAT well for you?" i said "honey, thats not the HALF of it!" you said "my names waterpixie, i hope you can swim!" i said "sweetheart, i can hold my breath for VERY long periods of time" then you passed out and i paid for your cab home. if only you had stopped at 6 shots that evening our lives might be very different today. sigh

Gosh, Mara. That pic just takes me back. Remember when you and I were walking down that path, with our corsets cinched tight and our parasols twirling on our shoulders. We were giggling like schoolgirls. It was so pleasant.

The thing that stands out most in my mind is when we rounded the bend, we looked over in the meadow and saw that farmer fucking that sheep. Remember?

Poor sheep. That farmer was hung.

So, there I was, just casually passing by, I SAID PASSING BY, your window and I happened to catch you in the process of undressing. Now, okay, so it SEEMED odd that I happened to just be passing by with a video camera AND a ladder in hand... AND your window was on the second floor of the building, but DAMMIT, I SAID I was JUST PASSING BY. Really. Now, could you please drop the charges? My fellow inmates are starting to look at my hair and thinking, "Hmmm... he could do for a psuedo-woman right now"

So PLEASE, for the LOVE OF GOD, drop the charges so I can stop fearing these ass-hounds.

And then, maybe we can do that coffee thing? Hmm?

    OH MY GOD!

REMEMBER THAT TIME, WE GOT SO DRUNK!
    OH MY GOD!

I got into a fight with the waiter and puked in your purse and later woke up at my ex-girlfreinds house with her panties on my head....

    Good times. Good times.
